Makers Camp

A hands-on week of building with wood, fabric, electronics, and code. Children design and make something to take home, alongside makers from the Hoi An community.

Founders Camp

A week for children who want to notice what is missing and start something. From a market stall to a small social project, they scope, prototype, and pitch alongside working founders.

July 1 – 31

Hoi An Summer Hub

A full month on the central Vietnamese coast, in a weekly rhythm of sync, focus projects, making, and reflection. Passionate teachers, family afternoons, and a small founding cohort. The July hub is a full month, so the children grow together over the four weeks.

Who it is for

Whether you live in Hoi An or you are travelling through this summer, this is a place your children will be glad to spend their days. Enriching, social, and rooted in Hoi An, while you work, explore, or simply have a few good hours to yourself.

Families come from all over, and many are worldschooling. Your children land in a ready-made community of other curious children, and you land in one too.

What is included

  • Four full days a week, 10am to 3:30pm.
  • Passionate, experienced teachers throughout the week.
  • Daily lunch, and fruit every morning for snack.
  • A small, age-aware cohort, so your child is genuinely known, not one of many.
  • Evening programming for Edventures members through the month (parent meet-ups, tween nights, family events).

Good to know: accommodation, flights, and visas are not included. We are happy to share recommended places to stay once you are coming.

Edventures runs small cohorts in Hoi An: inspiring, enriching, and wholesome social experiences for children. We would love to meet your family and help your children have a summer they remember.

Good questions

How old do children need to be?

Ages 8 to 13. Children spend the day in age-aware groups, so each one is met where they are.

What are the hours?

10am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday. Drop-off is at the hub. Pick-up is at the hub, or at that afternoon's activity location.

What is the community like?

Warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Children look out for one another, and we gently encourage good choices: trying, sharing, including others, and putting things right when they go sideways. Parents find their people too. Many families are worldschooling, and a real community grows over the weeks together.

How does signing up work?

The two June camps are one week each, so you can join either one or both. July is a full month, on purpose: the children move through the four weeks together and really bond as a group.

Is lunch included?

Yes. A daily lunch, with fruit for the morning snack, is part of every day.
